Dr. Susan A. Ambrose is a retired educator, having spent 30 years at Carnegie Mellon University as Associate Provost for Education, Director of the Eberly Center for Teaching and Learning, and Teaching Professor in the Department of History. She finished her career for the last 8 years at Northeastern University as Senior Vice Chancellor for Educational Innovation and Professor of Education and History.

In this session we will discuss how learning works to assure that we design and implement the most effective courses and learning experiences that have deep and lasting impacts on our students. We will connect learning to student outcomes and assessment, two important elements that promote the process.
