What about languages? They were recently removed from the new IGETC AB 928 (Beginning 2025).  We are already being replaced and disciplines are beginning to feel the impact.  AI is a great tool but it can also change the lives of many in negative ways. (Critical thinking, identity markers, human and cultural experiences) are more important. I guess this is a conversation for a different space:-)

Or is it important that they know which analyses to use when and how to interpret the results.  I have opted for the latter and teach them the statistical functions on Excel.  They are destined to become good consumers of the literature not statisticians.  So it's a fair compromise.  Clinically, they can generate treatment plans using AI, but they are responsible for editing and modifying them.
